That's right people

She was here

I saw her (finally... due to a rescheduled show)

AND

She was freakin' amazing, awesome, unreal, fantastic there are so many words that can be used to describe the show that she put on.

There were a few snafoo's on the actual night (including but not limited to a cowboy in assless chaps, yes I did say assless chaps!) but when P!NK came up through the stage - boy was the show on!

Thinking that I would run out of battery on my camera didn't seem to be a problem when I realised halfway through the performance that my memory card was full!!!

I didn't even think to check that I would need more that 1GB.

I frantically culled the fuzzy and unfocused however still did not have enough space to get footage of the stomach sickening acrobatics that happened at the end.

But it is all in my memory baby.

The show was awesome and have loaded piccies for you all to gawk and be jealous at in my gallery.

Go on, have a squiz you know you want to!

Video to be added shortly.

I have a decision to make today...

To watch the season finale of Grey's Anatomy

or

To watch the season two premeire of Rush

????

Two brilliant shows and although I have already seen the Grey's Anatomy finale about 3 times it is definately worth watching again it is JUST THAT GOOD!!!

On the other hand I have been waiting, waiting and waiting for Rush to return and the ads on tv make it look so enticing.

Another factor in the decision making process and one that I think is going to tip the scales for me is the fact that I can easily watch Rush tomorrow without all of the ads disrupting the plot!

Damn these competing television stations and their fight to win the envitable ratings war!

What about the common people?

Hmmmm what to do? What to do?

Shivers PDF Print E-mail

Over the past couple of months I have been traveling the road of several different authors.

I have been picking my favourite authors and endeavoring to complete their entire works in chronological order.

Some would say that this is a waste of time, however there is nothing that I love more than getting lost of a good book.

So far I have completed the journey's of Michael Connelly, JK Rowling and Harlan Coben. Each were wonderful, enticing and thrilling in their own right.

So tonight I set myself the task of choosing my next author.

Who did I choose? .......

Nelson Demille

The first book in this journey - 'By the Rivers of Babylon'

I had not even reached the first page and this quote has completely thrown me. It makes me realise that this book will not be a light one. I got shivers reading this quote; thinking that this book was published in 1979 (before I was born) and may very well still be entirely relevant in today's society.

'Our struggle has barely begun. The worst is yet to come. And it is right for Europe and America to be warned now that there will be no peace . . . The prospect of triggering a third world war doesn't bother us. The world has been using us and has forgotten us. It is time they realized we exist. Whatever the price, we will continue the struggle. Without our consent, the other Arabs can do nothing. And we will never agree to a peaceful settlement. We are the joker in the pack'

 - Dr George Habash, Leader, The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) (excerpt from By the Rivers of Babylon, Nelson Demille)

See you on the other side of 460 pages.
