People think the gold coast is fun, sunshine, beaches and generally a 'tinsel town'. They are wrong! Gold Coast to me signifies long work days, stoopid delegates, angry delegates, stoopid delegates, drunk delegates, stoopid delegates etc. It can be a fun time, but not normally during the waking hours. Hopefully my perspective will change soon. Chat soon.

When you hear flat out - you think someone has been really busy. Well I have been really busy this week but thanks to my back playing up again, I have been lying flat out all weekend. This is not as much fun as you might think. Only being able to lie flat on your back, or occasionally on your side with a pillow between your knees is not what I call fun! Please let the pysio be able to work her magic this week, so that life can go back to normal.

- Specifically organising to leave work early to beat traffic - only to get stuck in a storm
- Taking over one and half hours to travel a distance that usually takes me 25 mins
- Getting stuck in another storm so bad, that I have to reduce my speed to 30km in a 110km zone
- Driving through conditions so bad that even with my high beams on, I cannot distinguish the side of road to stop and put my hazards on
and finally
5. Getting to the unit, only a mere 3 hours after I set out!
I mean I know the sunny coast is a long way away, but this is just plain ri-donk-ulous!

Lately I have been seeing some very cute, quirky and funny ads on TV, I have decided that whenever I see these ads I will share them with you. Here is just the first of what I hope is many! It doesn't really have a point - and I love it.

Gotta love the yum yum yummy taste of Yum Cha! All that delicious steamed, fried and sugary goodness. The only downside is when you have to roll yourself home Yum Yum Yum - Yum Cha!
